Star Rent A Car is a family owned and operated Car rental (Car Hire) company based on the Gold Coast, predominantly servicing Gold Coast (Coolangatta) Airport, Gold Coast Metropolitan stretching from Hope Island to Tweed Heads and encompassing many of the top tourist destinations such as Surfers Paradise, Broad Beach, Miami and Burleigh Heads. We offer free pick up and delivery from all these locations, including hotels, resorts, residences and businesses and theme parks. As well as the greater Gold Coast, Star Rent A Car will service all of South East Queensland, including Brisbane Airports, Brisbane CBD and hotels, Sunshine Coast, including Maroochydore Airport, Ipswich and Toowoomba (subject to additional charges).
Clients of Star Rent A Car are also able to take delivery of their hire car and/or return their rental car in northern New South Wales locations such as Byron Bay, Ballina and Ballina Airport, Murwillumbah, Cabarita, Pottsville, Lennox Head and Tweed Valley (subject to additional charges). Star Rent A Car prides itself on providing excellent one on one service, where each and every client is greeted individually by a handful of rent a car representatives who have remained with Star Rent A Car since its inception. We also pride ourselves in retaining a very large percentage of repeat customers who are obviously happy with the service, price and the high quality of their hire car and hence we get to know many of our car rental clients in person.
One of our strengths lies in our transparent and extremely competitive pricing policy which is somewhat rare in the hire car industry. This translates to an absolute peace of mind for our clients whereby they can remain confident that once they arrive at the point of collection for their rental car, there will be no hidden surprises or hidden charges. The price agreed upon at the time of booking their rent a car, is the price they will pay. We provide free comprehensive street directories (maps) in all of rental cars. In addition you can hire (rent) GPS Satellite Navigation (Sat Nav) Units for a small additional daily fee. We do not charge for extra drivers on our hire cars. We are able to offer free child restraints (baby and/or booster seats) free of charge upon request. To this end, we also offer transparent and comprehensive insurance whereby ANY and ALL kinds of damage, accident and theft are covered (provided the vehicle was being operated with due care and under legal conditions).
Star Rent A Car does not believe there should distinction between single or multiple vehicle accident, windscreen, panel or tyre damage. The only option remaining for our rental car clients is whether they choose the standard excess cover or elect to reduce the insurance excess on their rental car. Star Rent A Car only offers new and current model cars for rent, ensuring safe, reliable, quality and enjoyable motoring for our customers. Our fleet of hire cars are meticulously maintained and serviced to the highest industry standard. Each and every car is also painstakingly cleaned and detailed for each rental and our clients often comment that our rental cars are the cleanest and the best presented of any hire car they have ever rented. At Star Rent A Car, we care a great deal about the fragile nature of our environment.
We actively employ environmental best practices. Whenever and wherever possible we recycle, use environmentally friendly products, minimise waste and more importantly offset your rental car’s carbon emissions with our proud association with Green Fleet. This additional benefit is provided at no additional cost on your hire car. We hope to encourage our car rental customers to also adopt practices which minimise their carbon foot print in their daily lives. We firmly believe that collective effort on part of individuals no matter how small will go a long way in trying to save our precious earth for generations to come.
